Additionally, during his visit to Turkey, agreements were reached on joint defense projects and trade facilitation between Ukraine and Turkey.
Erdogan reaffirmed Turkey’s support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, particularly emphasizing stability in the Black Sea shipping corridor. The meeting between Erdogan and Zelenskyy underscores the ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the conflict and support Ukraine’s defense against Russian aggression.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials continue to appeal for increased international support, particularly in the form of munitions and weaponry, to counter the advance of Russian forces. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba emphasized the urgency of comprehensive assistance to ensure Ukraine’s ability to defend itself effectively.
Amidst diplomatic engagements, China’s envoy Li Hui visited Kyiv as part of a European tour aimed at addressing the Ukraine crisis. China’s involvement in the conflict, characterized by its support for Russia and trade relations, adds another dimension to international efforts to resolve the crisis.
